New Year Challenge

I know, still 2 days till Christmas, but this has been bugging me. My craft room is a mess. A ridiculous, hoarding mess. I kid you not. I may or may not take pics of it. Right now it is the catch all room and it's awful. Plus I have so many craft items in there that I have not used yet, its a little ridiculous.

Sooooo I am going to challenge myself to:

A) clean and organize said room

B) redecorate said room

C) use the supplies I have in there

D) limit my craft spending for a while

Not that I spend a lot on crafting, but my biggest problem is that I HAVE TO make something, then I buy everything for it and never make it. Yep I do that. A LOT!

So, one of my New Year's challenges ( resolutions never work) is to use and make the things in my craft room. Maybe I'll even be able to find my sewing machine somewhere in there! ( Yes, its that bad!!)

Merry Christmas
everyone!! Have a safe and Happy New Year!!

  1. Oh my gosh! Me too! I seriously feel like my husband is going to sign me up for an episode of Hoarders because our office/my craft room is more than a little ridiculous! :)

  3. We have a mess at my house. My daughter moved out, took all her things; so we turned her room into a craft room. She came back home. We have crafting supplies in plastic bins everywhere!

  4. Ela, I so understand your predicament! I did on post on cleaning the sewing room/craft room. I'm a big Flylady Fan and organizational guru. Every Monday, I normally give everyone a big 'cheer on..or cleaning challenge' because it takes that to get me going too. :o)

BTW, I got the Thomas the Tank Engine fabric for you last night..to add to your pile. Ha! It wasn't the green because that was all gone. It has a blue background but Thomas is all over it. It's darling! And the total was only $14.00 for 2. 3 yards. (That was the whole remained on the bolt..14" were left over, so I told them I'd take it. If you only want two yards, I'll keep the 14" and make a stocking for my grandson. :o) You can never have too much Thomas the Tank engine fleece! :O)

Have fun..BTW--Love the list! I'll have to do that on New Year's. Great idea!
