So I have narrowed my choices for my chair redo to 3 fabrics and I would love your input on what I should choose. I am leaning more towards a certain one of these three, but I will wait and see what you guys think. Here are the chairs again:
And here are my 3 semi finalists:
The wood on the chairs will have an ORB finish.
Thanks!
Linking to these great parties!

Look what the wonderful and talented Laurie-Jean of Willoughby Whimsy did for me!!
How fantastic is that?? Thank you so much Laurie-Jean. Now you can really see how the chairs will look. How exciting!! If you have a moment, go to her great blog and help her pick out some colors for her office here.
Normally, I'm not much of a blue person but with the ORB, I'm kinda liking the blue!
ReplyDeleteI like #1 the Blue but my second choice would be #e the darker green and brown.
ReplyDeleteI like the first 2. :) What room are they going in and do these fabrics match the paint etc?
ReplyDeleteThey will be my new dining room chairs. I have wood paneling on the walls, so I try no to look at it too often lol
ReplyDelete#3 is my favorite. It will hide the food stains better. :)
ReplyDelete#1 is my favorite. I LOVE blue, and it's a gorgeous print. The other two are lovely, but I fear they will become outdated more quickly...green seems to be very in right now, but blue and white is a timeless color style.
ReplyDeleteI'm always a blue fan, but I really like #2. It just looks so fresh, crisp, and new, like a brand new beautiful morning!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that last one. I really think green and brown are fabulous together. OOOO with the ORB finish. I can totally see it.

I absolutely love #1, but would pick #3 as my second choice!
ReplyDeleteA #1 Tem tons de azuis e verde. Muito bonito!
ReplyDeleteI like the blue one #1- but then I tend to have lots of blue at my place. They are all nice...
ReplyDeleteSeems like you are always partial to blues... So it make seem like #1 is a good pick... That being said, I really like greens and browns (with a pop of red) and so if those beautiful chairs where going to be in my house, I would pick #3! I'm sure this helps a great deal, huh? (Not.) :P
ReplyDeleteCame over from New Friend Friday. Love the blue, but the last one my be the most versatile.
ReplyDeleteWow...I'm already way outvoted... but I love number 2! I think it is tre chic! number 1 would be my second choice.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's because the chairs are white and my mind always try to match colors automatically, lol... but I prefer the blue one! Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the results!
#1 ..... I just think the print compliments the chair back better.... It will be nice to see the finished product. Have a great weekend! Pam @ Sallygoodin
ReplyDeleteI am leaning towards #1, because of the similarity in shape of the insert/cut outs in the woodwork - what is ORB finish?
ReplyDeleteWell, for me it'd be the blue....the green would go well with the rich brown wood finish, but the blue would be a great contrasting finish.
ReplyDeleteHere is my Show n Tell if you'd like to join me today... Have a super weekend!!
Okay. I went back and looked at your tray redo and you are a modern girl.
ReplyDeleteBlue is beautiful and green with brown very trendy but for a clean and classic line I would go with number 2, the green and white.
That being said.......The fabric is a VERY easy change when you change your taste or paint colors.
Sp breath deeply and pick the one that makes your heart sing.
I like 1 and 2.
ReplyDeleteI love #3
ReplyDeleteI really love the blue print.

They would all look great, but I'm especially partial to #3. Wonderful project!
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt: #1.
ReplyDeleteI think it goes better with the shape and model of the chair.
Can't wait ot hear which one you chose.........
Stopping by from NFF...I really like #1 and I think it would look very pretty with the wood on the chairs
ReplyDeleteI like #2 the best!
ReplyDelete(visiting from nff)
#2 caught my eye first. It is so fresh, I love the contrast with the design of the chairs.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the blue, so clear and crisp, Amanda
ReplyDelete#3 would be my first choice and I have found by the time it outdates you are ready for a change anyway!
ReplyDeleteOohh, I LOVE the blue, but with the ORB, I have to go with #2 or #3.
ReplyDeleteI love the last 2 fabrics! The green and brown might show less dirt, but they're both fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSaw you at Remodelaholic and I had to weigh in!
Go Blue!
ReplyDeleteGreat chairs! I like fabric #3 best. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the blue!

The blue gets my vote!
ReplyDeleteI vote for #2! I think that the decorating possibilities with that one are incredibly versatile: red accents for Christmas, bright pink for Valentine's Day, pastels for Easter, turquoise for summer, rust for fall. Those two colors on their own (pale green and white) are extra-ordinarily color friendly.
ReplyDelete#1 or #3
ReplyDeleteIm in love with the Blue..
ReplyDeleteLOVE #2! So bright and crisp! Great fabrics!
ReplyDeleteTake # 2 and add your Pink flowers in the room!
ReplyDeleteAll 3 are beautiful but #2 may be a teensy summery for winter... #1 would be elegant w/o "little helpers" in the house but #3 would hold up to actual use *hide stuff* : ) can't wait to find out your decision!
ReplyDelete#2 i think is the prettiest!! let me know which one you choose!!
ReplyDeleteI love me some green, but that blue is gorgeous. Love it so much I'd like to know where you got it, if you don't mind sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue and the second green one. It will really depend an the feel you want for the room. Do you you want a more formal room go blue more casual and fresh go green? As an upholsterers daughter may I suggest that whatever fabric you go with center the pattern on the chairs for a professional look. Are you leaving the chairs the color they are or are you painting the? If painting them then either blue or green would be very cool.
ReplyDeletehmmm...all of them are cute! But #1 goes very beautiful with your cute walls!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ela, for the info about the fabric. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love the middle chair!! ....but they all could look great! Good choices!
ReplyDeleteHi Ela-
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting the link up party. I will be linking again for sure.
As for your chairs - I like #2 the best. To me it looks fresh and modern. The blue and white is traditional and you can never go wrong with it, but #2 is more modern looking. I read your repy to a comment above about not liking the panelled walls. Why don't you paint them white or another color to update the room. I once moved into a house with cheap brown paneling in every room. It was so dark we could not even see nails on the walls. We painted everything white latex eggshell finish. What a difference. We rolled the paint on and used 1" angle brush to go down each groove. I think you would be so happy and it is only the cost of paint and your time. I wish I had before and afters to show you.

Love the blue!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue and the green. I'm not a fan of #3. They will be pretty whatever you choose.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Saturday is Crafty Day!
Laura @ along for the ride
#3 for sure!
ReplyDeleteI would choose #2! I think the green would be lovely in the cheerful summer months, and would also be stunning with a holiday table setting. Look forward to seeing the final product!
ReplyDeleteOh, the Blue... cause I'm a fan of blue!
ReplyDeleteBut what ever you choose, those are great
chairs and will look good in your room!
Good luck!
Sandy
#2 is my choice. The blue is too expected...but usually one is either a green person or a blue person (and I am a green person)!
ReplyDeleteVery nice chairs! I love fabric # 2. Can;t wait to see them finished!
ReplyDeleteI think #2 - because it is sort of similar to the background of your blog. They'll be great chairs with any of the three fabrics though.
ReplyDeleteI like one or two of each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mix em up!
ReplyDeletefrom met mon
I like number 2 - it makes a pretty contrast with your wall. But I think it would be fun to use all three - so the chairs would have different fabrics. That would be really cute too.
ReplyDeleteI like the blue!
ReplyDeleteDefinately the blue. Look how it stands out in the thumbnail photo!
ReplyDeletefirst time here and I already get to vote!
ReplyDeleteI never regret going with blue, it's very classic, safe, and comforting (kind of like macaroni and cheese :) If you're feeling risky, go with #3. If you want more calm and soothing, #2 would be nice.
LOVE the blue! Your blog is so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue!
ReplyDeleteI like the blue, but only if the design is centered...have you given thought to doing each one in a different fabric?
ReplyDeleteI like #3 if you are going to keep the chairs the same color. If you are sticking with the blue wall color, I'd go with #1.
ReplyDelete#2!
ReplyDeleteHello. I would pick #1, the blue!
ReplyDeleteGood lucl with making the final decision.
Best regards,
Gloria
Ela,
ReplyDeleteClicked on your blog through "The Shabby Nest". When I saw the photo shopped version of your chairs, I was thinking to myself....I wish I had redone my chairs in different fabrics. Stupid, huh? Seriously, I thought you were being whimsical and decided to do them all different fabrics. Thought that was AWESOME! As far as which one to pick-yes. Other than that-I got nothing.
def #2!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like #2 the best! Please link up to Sister Sister Sunday if you have a chance!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Amanda

#2 is my favorite! Thanks for linking up for Friday Favorites!
ReplyDeleteI think #2 is my favorite one! Are you leaving the backs and legs of the chairs the same or painting them?
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 is clean and pretty, but the blue is striking against the dark wood. I have paneling also, but I painted it. It looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI like number #3 as it will withstand a new accidents on the fabric.
ReplyDelete#1 is a cool colour, so you will have to see what "temperature" your room is and those adjoining to it.
#3 is a warm colour.
#2 is non commital to a pattern as you can barely see the pattern from far. Not bold enough.
Because I like warm colours in my home, #3 would have my vote.
Ela - These chairs are going to be gorgeous! The black is already an amazing transformation! I love 1 and 3...so hard to make a choice! Can't wait to see these complete! Thanks so much for joining the Sunday Showcase! I greatly appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful week! ~ Stephanie Lynn
ReplyDeleteI really like the blue - of course I just did my dining room chairs (not completed yet) and used blue!!!! You'll have to come by and see when I get them posted..Can't wait to see what you choose!
ReplyDeleteTotally the blue!
ReplyDeleteThose are all sweet and how awesome of Laurie-Jean to do that! I BELIEVE I have the blue in my dining room! If not it's VERY close! My sister did them for me! ...I like the blue but the green and white is my second choice! Glad I joined this link at keeping it simple! ;-)
